One theory I heard was the U.S. government down in Puerto Rico was trying to create a super soldier so they combined the DNA of a human being with the DNA of a bat and accidentally created the Chupacabra. Hurricane Hugo hit and knocked the fences down at the base and the creature got loose.

But the more plausible stories and eye witness accounts I have heard about the goat sucker seem to be in the realm of the super natural.

People say they smell burning sulfur when the goat sucker creature appears.

Whatever it is when they see it they also find a trail of dead animals with the blood completely drained from their lifeless bodies.

Who knows what sorts of life forms exist in other dimensions that can sometimes cross over into our physical world.

Some people such as serial killers like Jeffrey Dahmer have I believed begun to evolve into something which is no longer human but this is happening at the level of their spiritual bodies so we cannot perceive it. But behind the facade of what appears to be a normal human being lies a non human creature.

The so called Big Foot creature, if it exists, may be like a spirit or something like that.

This may also be true of the Loch Ness monster and Champ here in Vermont. Perhaps the lakes where these creatures appear contain a time portal back to the prehistoric days.

I just watched an interesting episode of a new show on The History Channel called 'Clash Of The Gods' about the Minotaur creature.

This guy was supposed to give a special bull to Poseidon but he didn't. So Poseidon gave the guy's wife an unnatural lust for the bull so she dressed up in a cow costume and had sex with it. This ill fated union produced the Minotaur which had the body of a human being but the head of a bull.

The hero of the story who ends up killing the Minotaur was conceived when his mother had sex with both her husband and the god Poseidon on the same night. This is a metaphor which means her husband Aegeus was the reincarnation of Poseidon.

The wife dressing up like a cow may mean she was somehow able to take on the form of a cow based on some power Poseidon gave her. Or perhaps Poseidon caused this to happen even though she didn't want to who knows.

It's interesting because in the place in Greece where the Minotaur was kept according to the legend, which was a weird maze, there really is a weird building there. This building just contains countless rooms with no hallways in between so it would be very easy to get hopelessly lost in it.

There is evidence also that the people of Crete performed human sacrifice there and may have actually eaten the bodies of children that they killed there.

This is all very strange and suggests that the story may be true in some form.

The myth ends ironically and tragically when the hero, Aegeus' son Theseus, returns home but forgets to sail with the white side of the sails facing the shore. His father, thinking his son had been killed by the minotaur creature, jumped into what is now called the Agean Sea.

Poseidon was also a key player in the story of Medusa who was at first a lovely virgin serving in the temple of Athena.

I think Poseidon also has some association with the cyclops creatures. I'll have to look it up.

The bull is a symbol of male sexual potency in Greek mythology. Poseidon is associated with the bull as well as the horse, the sea, and earthquakes.

According to Plato's Atlantis story bulls roamed freely around the temple of Poseidon on Atlantis if I recall correctly.

Poseidon's priests would have to fight with bulls using only the simplest of weapons.

That show 'Clash Of The Gods' is pretty good for learning about the mythological stories.

People sometimes underestimate people like Plato and those others who lived long ago. People think they just made up those myths to try to explain things they didn't understand like if a flood happened they thought Poseidon was angry.

This is not the case. Plato and those others knew more than some people think.
