I saw a gigantic owl creature standing erect next to a treeFound on Cryptozoology.com Anyone see something like this? When I was 15 I saw something similar out of the corner of my eye in the living room window, but when I looked directly at the window there was nothing there. It's odd in that I was thinking of absolutely nothing like that, not birds of any kind and certainly not something like a giant owl. model citizen zero discipline

Cool story. It's actually kind of freaky. I mean I love owls because they're spooky, but seeing a giant one would totally...well, spook me! Imagining
those big eyes on a human-sized bird
 . Gaaaahh. I know I've never
personally seen an owl that big. We have some owls that hang out in our trees and hoot at night sometimes, but I've seen them and they're normal-sized.
I don't doubt that giant ones exist though. It seems we're discovering lots of animals can grow to abnormally large sizes.
I did laugh when the story mentioned a man in an owl suit. Lmao. Just picturing that cracks me up.

Oh yeah, they exist alright. I hear about birds like that from hunters on the east coast once every blue moon or so. However, normal owls eat mice or similar
things, and an owl 5 feet tall is too small to carry off a deer. So it makes me wonder what the hell they eat. Cats and small dogs maybe. Or raccoons.
