Black Dogs:
When I was young, about 9 years old or so, my mother needed to return something to my grandmother, so my sister and I were sitting in the car in the driveway (the car was facing the road). It was nighttime, late at night in a sleepy lil town so no one was likely to be coming down the street for some hours. Anyway, my sis and I were just waiting, just kinda sleepy and not really talking to each other, no radio on, when I glanced up through the windshield towards the mouth of the driveway. There was a beautiful house across the street that I enjoyed looking at, and suddenly I (thought I) saw 2 or 3 big black dogs dash down the street, literally down the center of the road. It happened very quickly. The way we were facing the dogs ran from left to right.
Now, I'm talking big dogs. Big. Lean. Black. And the way they ran was nothing like how I'd seen a dog run before. I grew up with dogs of various sizes and breeds. I know how they move. These things moved differently, almost like they'd glided or had such long strides that they barely touched ground. I know what a dog looks like.
This Irish Wolf Hound (Irish Wolf Hound) is sort of the right size (could be a bit bigger, actually), but is way too shaggy, and too bulky. The Greyhound (Greyhound) looks better according to shape, but it is much too small for what I saw.
I asked my sister if she'd seen what I'd just seen, too. She said she hadn't seen anything, which was probably true. We were both sleepy, and I'd just glanced up in time to see those strange things. It happened so fast, and seems so incredible, surreal, that I'm still not sure what to make of it. I'll be the first to admit that it was entirely because I was sleepy, that my eyes were playing tricks on me. But it's such a vivid image in my head, and it's stayed with me so long.
So. There ya go. Make of it what you will. lol

, not B.O.) but when I told them the story, they could "visualize" it
as I did all that time ago and told me that it WAS a demon, but a "lower class" of demon and that I wouldn't be bothered by it anymore.
And I haven't.
